Quality Assurance Specialist

Our organization is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance specialist to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications and systems by conducting thorough testing.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts to validate business workflows.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing to ensure that all system components, including front-end interfaces, back-end processes, databases, APIs, and integrations work together seamlessly.
  • Ensure that user journeys, business logic, and system interactions function correctly across multiple platforms and devices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and product managers to understand requirements and define test strategies.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing across various platforms and environments.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
  • Automate test scenarios using relevant frameworks to enhance test efficiency.
  • Ensure test coverage across multiple test phases.
  • Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
  • Provide detailed reports on test execution, defects, and overall system quality.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on end-to-end testing.
  • Experience in industries such as telecom, finance, or e-commerce.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies and experience with tools like Cucumber or SpecFlow.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium.
  • Experience in API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent tools.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.
  • Experience working with test management tools like JIRA, XRay, TestRail, or Zephyr.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience integrating tests within DevOps workflows.
  • Knowledge of databases and ability to perform SQL queries for data validation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Relevant testing certifications such as ISTQB.
