Job Summary

The Chief of Party will lead the Pakistan Flagship TB Activity, overseeing all aspects of project implementation. The selected candidate will ensure technical excellence, financial and administrative compliance, and effective supervision of project teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Program Leadership & Management: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from start-up to close-out, ensuring timely and high-quality implementation.
  • Financial Oversight & Compliance: Manage project budgets, reporting, and ensure donor compliance.
  • People Management: Supervise, mentor, and build capacity within the project team and partners.
  • Strategic Thought Leadership: Utilize evidence-based approaches to refine project design and execution.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the organization in high-level engagements with government agencies, donors, and international partners.
  • Fundraising & Sustainability: Explore additional funding opportunities and ensure the long-term impact of the program.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Public Health, Business Administration, Health Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in public health program management.
  • Previous experience as a Chief of Party, Deputy Chief of Party, or Project Director on a USAID-funded project preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in tuberculosis (TB) programming.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in Pakistan preferred.
  • Proven expertise in managing complex operations under donor regulations in a low- or middle-income country (LMIC).
  • Strong financial and grants management skills, including oversight of sub-grants.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with government agencies, donors, and international partners.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities.
