About the Job

The Supply Chain Specialist - Transportation Management is accountable for ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, shipment coordination, and post-shipment issue resolution in the transportation function.

This role collaborates with cross-functional teams including finance, sales, and project management to facilitate order management, verify shipping data, and optimize transportation solutions.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. ">
  2. Audit and report all freight-related invoices via Matched/Unmatched report and EDI portal to confirm invoices are ready for payment to carriers.">
  3. Day-to-day interaction with 3rd party auditor and internal finance team to address issues related to payments, late fees, and file data.">
  4. Solve freight-related cases involving returns, re-routes, and claims. Return cases are scrutinized to ensure correct billing customer vs. Zones responsibility, best ship method, etc.">
  5. Support departmental email operations (tracking, quoting, fixing shipping errors, updating delivery requirements, etc.).">
  6. Collaborate with sales and PMO to ensure orders can be shipped from TSC as needed through effective order management in CE.">
  7. Resolve post-shipment issues such as serial number and tracking validation, package research, etc.">
  8. Coordinate transportation providers to ensure timely and proper shipment movement (special project schedules as necessary).">
  9. Work closely with sales and project managers to ensure orders are shipped efficiently and at the lowest possible cost.">
