This role requires a skilled Finance Specialist who can perform various clerical and entry-level bookkeeping and accounting tasks, applying accepted procedures to the preparation and maintenance of accounting and other records.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct monthly and year-end closing activities for Inventory & Cost Accounting and Reporting – Plant Closing, Inventory Valuation, Pre & Post Close Analysis, Inventory General Ledgers & Transfer Profit Reconciliations, ad-hoc business queries etc.
  2. Provide subject matter expertise and support to the team.
  3. Collaborate with Regional Business Analysts / Finance Managers / Controllers on specific projects and initiatives.
  4. Develop and maintain Metrics, Dashboards, KPIs for reporting to Management.
  5. Identify opportunities for process improvement and maintain up-to-date SOP documentation.
  6. Ensure compliance with all applicable Internal Controls (SOX & Non-SOX) and support internal and external audits.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Cost Accounting area, preferably with exposure to SAP MM.
  • Prior experience in Manufacturing Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Product Costing & Pricing is beneficial.
  • Exposure to ERP environment for at least 1 year is advantageous.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business requirements and priorities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and locations.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
