Job Title: Senior Software Quality Engineer

As a seasoned software quality engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive test strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications.

  • Lead cross-functional teams in creating test plans, estimating effort, planning, and executing testing activities for complex projects with remote teams.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for UI and API testing to improve efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts.
  • Establish metrics and monitoring to measure test coverage, defect reporting, and other key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with development teams to enhance code quality and implement best practices across the organization.
  • Advocate for continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity, investigate new tools, and develop test frameworks for future projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of relevant testing or development experience.
  • Strong knowledge of ISTQB principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Java programming language and scripting skills in Python or Java.
  • Experience with Test Automation tools like Selenium, Cucumber, RestAssured.
  • Knowledge of cloud tools such as Git, Drone CI, Argo CD, Kubernetes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience working remotely with agile teams.
