Key Responsibilities:

  • CICD Pipeline Management: Implement robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Bamboo to ensure efficient deployment of applications.
  • Database Administration: Manage a range of SQL and NoSQL databases to support application needs, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Automation Scripting: Develop automation scripts using Shell, Bash, Batch, and PowerShell for both Linux and Windows environments, streamlining system administration tasks.
  • Application Deployment: Deploy Java, Node.js, Angular, and .NET applications on servers such as Apache Tomcat, WildFly, and IIS, optimizing performance and scalability.
  • System Health Monitoring: Implement monitoring using Grafana, Prometheus, and the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) to ensure optimal system health and performance.
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Utilize Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration and scaling of microservices, ensuring seamless collaboration and integration.
  • Source Control Management: Manage source control using Bitbucket, implementing effective branching strategies and code reviews to maintain high-quality code.
  • Infrastructure Provisioning: Leverage configuration management and automation tools to streamline infrastructure provisioning and application deployment, reducing downtime and increasing efficiency.
  • Scripting and Automation: Write automation scripts using Groovy, Python, and Java to automate repetitive tasks, freeing up time for strategic initiatives.
About the Role:

This DevOps Engineer role requires 2–3 years of experience in a similar position. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is also required.

The ideal candidate will have proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo) and source control (Bitbucket). Strong scripting skills in Shell, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Java are also necessary. Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes) is highly valued. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK is also beneficial.

A solid understanding of networking, infrastructure, and security best practices is essential for this role. DevOps certifications (e.g., AWS DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes) will be a strong plus. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset are also required.
