Job Title: WordPress Plugin Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced software engineer to join our team as a WordPress developer. As a mid-level position, the ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of designing user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) components, with the ability to develop custom WordPress plugins, modules, and themes.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in WordPress plugin development, custom theme development, and other web services. Additionally, they will be able to write and edit technical documentation, prioritize tasks, multitask, and meet tight deadlines.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of web applications, programming languages, and web services such as APIs, CSS, CSS3, cross-browser compatibility, HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, security principles, REST, SOAP, and web user interface design (UI)
  • Hands-on experience in WordPress custom plugin development, WordPress custom theme development, and other web services
  • Ability to write and edit technical documentation
  • Dedication to innovative and sophisticated designs and collaborative problem-solving
  • Experience planning and developing websites/online stores across multiple products and organizations
  • Outstanding work ethic, character, integrity, and professionalism
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in English

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a WordPress developer and hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
