Database Administrator Vacancy

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to manage our biometric passport system database. As the Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the database, ensuring data security and integrity, and providing support for any database-related issues.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain database systems for biometric passport systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any database-related issues.
• Monitor database performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Evaluate and apply appropriate backup and recovery procedures to ensure data security and integrity.
• Collaborate with software developers to design efficient database structures.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as backups, upgrades, and patches.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to the database system.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL language and relational databases (MySQL, Oracle).
• Experience with data backup, recovery, security protocols, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Familiarity with database design principles and optimization techniques.
• Able to troubleshoot complex database issues independently.
