About The Role:

As a Design & Application Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in advancing process automation solutions across diverse industries.

This position involves designing and implementing hardware for specialized control systems, including Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), and Fire & Gas Systems (FGS).

Experience with Allen Bradley, Yokogawa, and Honeywell systems is essential, as well as expertise in working with industrial standards, instrumentation, and control system principles.

You will also be responsible for ensuring adherence to major industrial standards throughout project phases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement hardware for specialized control systems, including DCS, SIS, and FGS.
  • Provide expertise in wellhead facilities, including Wellhead Control Panels, skids, and solar systems.
  • Ensure adherence to major industrial standards and apply conceptual understanding of these standards throughout project phases.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of major instrumentation used in the industry.
  • Analyze and interpret customer specifications, including Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Cause & Effect Diagrams (C&Es), drawings, narratives, and philosophies.
  • Perform system testing and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for control systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
  • 4-5 years of work experience in Industrial Automation & Controls in Allen Bradley, Yokogawa, & Honeywell Systems.
  • Proven experience in hardware design for specialized control systems, including DCS, SIS, and FGS.
  • Expertise in working with Allen Bradley, Yokogawa, and Honeywell systems.
  • Experience with wellhead control panels, skids, and solar systems preferred.
  • Strong understanding of industrial standards, instrumentation, and control system principles.
  • Experience with system testing, FAT, and site work, including commissioning and startup.
  • Hands-on experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication skills with ability to interpret and discuss technical information.
