We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Associate to join our team in the Department of Biochemistry. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on an exciting project titled Fabrication of paper-based pop-up electrochemical device for the rapid detection of arsenic in drinking water and blood serum.
About the Project
The project is funded by the Competitive Research Program for Universities - Pakistan Science Foundation Project No. PSF/CRP/Consrm-713. Our goal is to develop a cost-effective and portable device for detecting arsenic in water and blood serum.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Conduct research on biosensor studies with a focus on developing a reliable method for detecting arsenic.
- Collaborate with a team of researchers to design, test, and refine the device.
- Maintain accurate records of research progress and results.
- Possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Hold an M.Phil. in Chemistry or Biochemistry.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive monthly stipend of PKR 20,000/- and a contract duration of 01 year. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who wish to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic research environment.
