Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Territory Manager Seeds to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting farmers in producing high-quality seed that meets our standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Crop scouting and monitoring to ensure optimal growth conditions.
  • Providing farm advisory services to assist farmers from sowing to harvesting and handling.
  • Ensuring good agricultural practices are followed on farms producing potatoes for our company.
  • Monitoring crop performance and recommending corrective actions to improve yields.
  • Participating in training and transfer of best practices to farmers in Pakistan.
  • Assisting in variety trials, evaluations, and research as required.
  • Developing new areas/geographies for disease-free, quality seed production.
  • Implementing SQA journey with seed and chip stock traceability from seed to finished goods.
  • Training field teams and farmers on crop best practices.
  • Utilizing agro machinery and field operation solutions for cost-effectiveness and quality management.
  • Managing specific potato projects and programs under supervision.
  • Assisting farmers in improved crop management.
  • Supporting Seed Development Manager in AOP volume procurement.
  • Assisting in potato variety field trials in Pakistan.
  • Conducting farm visits and providing advisory support.
  • Performing field testing, data collection, and handling grower complaints.
  • Providing general advisory to growers without brand recommendations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • B.Sc. (Hons.)/M.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture
  • Knowledge of potato growing areas, farmers, and crop management
  • Technical knowledge of pest control
  • Fluency in local languages
  • Computer skills
  • 1-2 years' supervisory experience with a pesticide/seed company or 2-3 years' field experience in agribusiness
