Financial Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced financial manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for preparing and finalizing financial statements, managing statutory and IFRS audits, and developing and managing annual budgets. You will also analyze variances, handle fixed assets accounting, perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and support tax assessments and audits.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and finalize financial statements as per Companies Act and IFRS (monthly, quarterly, and annually).
  • Manage statutory and IFRS audits, including coordination with auditors and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets, forecast future financial performance, and analyze variances.
  • Handle fixed assets accounting, including depreciation posting and FA register preparation.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Support tax assessments and audits, contribute to process improvements, and internal controls.
  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, intercompany transactions, treasury, and taxation.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and monitor internal control systems to protect company assets and ensure financial integrity.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, and Companies Act.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
