Full Stack PHP Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack PHP Developer to join our agile team of professionals. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth functioning of our backend services, including data management and API integration. You will also lead the entire web application development life cycle, from concept to delivery and post-launch support.

To achieve this, you will utilize standard development tools, refactor and optimize codebases for maintenance and scalability, and implement test-driven development and acceptance tests to guarantee feature quality.

In addition, you will collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements and develop software solutions, effectively communicate progress and evaluations, and document the development process and architecture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP and related technologies
  • Ensure the smooth functioning of backend services, including data management and API integration
  • Lead the entire web application development life cycle, from concept to delivery and post-launch support
  • Refactor and optimize codebases for maintenance and scalability
  • Implement test-driven development and acceptance tests to guarantee feature quality
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements and develop software solutions
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Previous working experience as a PHP Developer for 1-2 years
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field
  • User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
  • Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
  • Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
  • Experience with PHP MVC frameworks (Symfony, Laravel, CodeIgniter, Zend, etc.)
  • Excellent relational database skills with MySQL
  • Experience with building restful JSON web services
  • Knowledge of APIs, such as Twitter, Facebook, Google Maps, Instagram, etc.
  • Understanding of responsive design frameworks such as Bootstrap
