Sales Director
The Sales Director is responsible for leading the sales department, driving revenue growth, and ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy. Key responsibilities include managing the departmental calendar, designing a roadmap for goal achievement, and monitoring giving trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Departmental Calendar Management: Coordinate the departmental calendar to optimize fundraising opportunities through strategic launches, promotions, and campaign activities.
- Goal Achievement Roadmap: Design a roadmap that leads to the achievement of departmental and business goals, focusing on effective planning and execution.
- Trend Analysis and Forecasting: Monitor giving trends, make forecasts, and identify new trends ahead of the curve to drive fundraising efforts.
- Data-Driven Strategies: Collaborate with the analytics department to process relevant data, translating it into actionable strategies that drive fundraising and lead to goal achievement.
- Team Development and Training: Ensure continual training and development of all members of the sales team.
- Account Management Collaboration: Collaborate on account management plans with sales account managers.
- Sales Performance Reporting: Prepare monthly reports on sales performance against budget and report on variance.
Requirements:
- Proven Experience: 4-5 years of experience as a Sales or Marketing Manager, meeting or exceeding targets.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Ability to communicate, present, and influence all levels of the organization, including executives and C-level.
- Sales Process Expertise: Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Client-Focused Solutions: Demonstrated experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions.
- Negotiation and Presentation Skills: Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Qualifications and Communication Skills: MBA/M.Phil. Marketing or equivalent qualification; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
