Job Title: Senior Full Stack Developer

This is a mid-senior level full-time Engineering and Information Technology position in the financial services industry.

About the Role:

We seek an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will design and develop scalable full-stack applications using ReactJS for frontend and Python/Flask for backend.

Main Responsibilities:

• Full-Stack Application Development: Design and develop scalable full-stack applications using ReactJS for frontend and Python/Flask for backend.
• RESTful API Implementation: Architect, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs to support data workflows and investment research.
• Internal Dashboard Development: Build internal dashboards, analytics tools, and performance reporting systems for portfolio optimization.
• AI/ML Integration: Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate large language models (LLMs) and automate investment workflows.
• System Development: Develop robust systems for backtesting, portfolio management, and financial data processing.
• Service Deployment: Deploy and maintain services on Google Cloud Platform, leveraging cloud-native capabilities.
• CICD Pipeline Management: Own CI/CD pipelines, implement DevOps best practices, and manage secure, scalable infrastructure.
• Real-Time Data Processing Support: Support real-time data processing and API integrations with third-party financial platforms.
• Product and Investment Team Collaboration: Work directly with product and investment teams to translate needs into technical solutions.

Requirements:

• Frontend and Backend Development Expertise: Strong understanding of frontend (ReactJS) and backend (Python/Flask) development.
• Cloud Infrastructure Experience: Experience working on cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred), including deployment and monitoring.
• DevOps and CI/CD Pipeline Familiarity: Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native architecture.
• LLMs and Machine Learning Tools Knowledge: Knowledge of LLMs, machine learning tools, or experience integrating AI into products.
• Financial Analysis Tools Experience: Experience building tools for financial analysis, systematic strategies, or portfolio management is highly desirable.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive, resourceful problem-solver who takes ownership and works with minimal supervision.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – able to interface across functions and geographies.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Computer Science or Related Field Degree: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Full Stack Engineering Experience: 3–5 years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, ideally in high-performance or data-intensive environments.
• ReactJS, Python/Flask, and Modern Web Applications Proficiency: Proficient in ReactJS, Python/Flask, and building modern web applications.
• GCP or Similar Platforms Experience: Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or similar (AWS, Azure).
• DevOps, Containerization, and CI/CD Best Practices Familiarity: Familiarity with DevOps, containerization (e.g., Docker), and CI/CD best practices.
• AI/ML Integration and Quantitative Finance Exposure: Exposure to AI/ML integration, especially LLMs, and experience working with quantitative finance, data pipelines, or backtesting platforms is highly desirable.
• English Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
