Financial Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis and reporting, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing financial statements and reports in compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
  • Analyzing financial data and identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Developing and maintaining financial models and forecasts.


Auditing and Compliance

The successful candidate will have experience in auditing and compliance, with a strong understanding of local, state, and federal financial regulations. They will be responsible for ensuring compliance with these regulations and preparing corresponding reports.

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinating and providing documentation required for regulatory and audit reviews.Developing, maintaining, and improving internal control procedures and policies.

Budgeting and Forecasting

The Financial Analyst will assist in the development of the annual budget and financial forecasts. They will monitor departmental budgets and perform detailed variance analysis, assist in cash flow forecasting, investment modeling, and cost-benefit analysis, and coordinate the preparation of financial plans and performance reports.

Operational Improvement

The Financial Analyst will identify opportunities for improving efficiency in financial operations. They will support and contribute to the implementation and optimization of ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP), document business processes, and update accounting policies to support internal controls. They will also drive automation and consistency in reporting and reconciliation practices.

Leadership and Collaboration

The Financial Analyst will guide and mentor junior finance and accounting staff, delegate and oversee tasks within the accounting team, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide insights to support business operations. They will represent the finance function in leadership discussions and support strategic decision-making. They will prepare and present financial reports to the CFO and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
Guiding and mentoring junior finance and accounting staff.Representing the finance function in leadership discussions.

Requirements:
CA/ACCA qualified or finalist with 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably with Big 4 firms.In-depth knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
