Job Overview

You will play a key role in designing and developing interactive reports and dashboards to visualize key business metrics. As part of this team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze data, and create effective visualization solutions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Data Modelling and Analysis – Design, implement, and optimize models to ensure accuracy, performance, and scalability.
  • Advanced Data Development – Write and optimize complex DAX measures, implement calculation groups, and apply advanced techniques to support business requirements.
  • Security and Governance – Configure and manage security settings, enforce governance standards, and ensure compliance with best practice modelling.
  • Source Control and DevOps – Use version control systems to manage code, merge changes, and release new features.
  • Database Development – Write efficient, production-quality SQL queries to interrogate and transform datasets for integration into models.
  • Delivery and Implementation – Take ownership of tasks from specification through to delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality outputs with minimal supervision.
  • Best Practice Modelling – Champion dimensional modelling and star schema design to ensure consistency, maintainability, and performance across the reporting layer.
  • Dashboards and Insights – Build and enhance enterprise-grade dashboards, ensuring usability, performance, and alignment with business objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience as a data developer or in a similar role.
  • Proven track record designing and publishing complex models and reports, with deep knowledge of data analysis and database development.
  • Strong understanding of dimensional modelling, star schemas, and best practices.
  • Experience with data modeling and report design best practices.
  • Knowledge of SQL and experience working with databases.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
