Job Title: DevSecOps Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled security engineer to join our team and enhance the security posture of our CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and applications.

The ideal candidate will work at the intersection of Development, Security, and Operations to ensure security best practices are integrated into every stage of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). They will support secure delivery of PHP/Java backend systems and Android/iOS applications deployed on AWS, using Jenkins for automation and ELK for monitoring and logging.

  • Implement Secure CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain secure Jenkins pipelines integrating security checks such as SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, and secret detection.
  • Enforce Cloud Security: Design and enforce security controls in AWS environments including IAM policies, VPC security, encryption, and incident response.
  • Utilize Monitoring & Logging Tools: Use ELK stack for proactive security monitoring, log analysis, and anomaly detection.
  • Collaborate with Developers: Work with PHP and Java developers to secure web services and APIs; conduct threat modeling and code reviews.
  • Ensure Mobile App Security: Work with Android and iOS teams to enforce security best practices in mobile app development and releases.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree: In Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years in DevSecOps, DevOps, or Security Engineering roles.
  • AWS Expertise: Hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure security.
  • Jenkins and CI/CD: Strong command of Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline security integrations.
  • ELK Stack: Proficient in managing and analyzing logs using the ELK stack.
  • Secure Coding Practices: Familiarity with secure coding practices in PHP and Java.
  • Mobile App Security: Understanding of mobile application security for Android and iOS platforms.
  • Containerization: Working knowledge of containerization and tools like Docker (Kubernetes is a plus).
  • Security Tools: Experience with security tools like SonarQube, Trivy, Aqua, Clair, or OWASP tools.
