The Logistics Manager will be responsible for:

  • Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing effective logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Warehouse Management: Supervising the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service, resolving any issues or complaints in a timely manner.
  • Negotiation and Communication: Liaising with suppliers, manufacturers, and retailers to negotiate prices and delivery times, while maintaining effective communication channels.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Effective Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to handle multiple tasks and attention to detail.
  • Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers, manufacturers, and retailers.
  • Basic Accountancy: Understanding of basic accountancy principles to manage finances and make informed decisions.
  • MICROSOFT OFFICE SUITE: Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite for administrative tasks.
