Job Summary:

The Sales Director – South will be responsible for expanding our commercial presence in the Northern region by driving sales performance and managing key healthcare accounts. This role requires a strong leader who can build strategic partnerships, lead a high-performing sales team, and drive business growth.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with our overall business objectives. Ensure targets are met for revenue, profitability, and market expansion.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and manage a team of Territory Managers, Key Account Executives, and Medical Sales Representatives across the South. Foster a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Key Account Management: Maintain strong relationships with major hospitals, pharmacies, clinics, and healthcare professionals. Lead negotiations and long-term contracts with institutional buyers.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and regulatory changes. Provide insights for product positioning, pricing strategies, and new business development.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, regulatory, distribution, and supply chain teams to align sales efforts with product launches, promotions, and customer feedback.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure full compliance with industry regulations and internal policies. Regularly report sales performance, forecasts, and customer insights to senior leadership.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Business, or a related field. MBA is a strong plus.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in sales within the pharmaceutical, medical devices, or healthcare solutions sector.
  • Deep understanding of the South region healthcare ecosystem, including public/private hospitals, medical institutions, and distribution networks.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and building high-performing teams.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
