Sr. UI Designer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UI Designer to be part of our digital product design team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for websites, mobile apps, and software applications.
  • Design visual elements such as icons, graphics, and animations, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Design responsive designs that work seamlessly across various devices and screen sizes.
  • Create interactive prototypes to demonstrate the functionality and flow of the user interface elements.
  • Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to incorporate innovative and modern design elements into projects.
  • Prepare design specifications and guidelines for developers, ensuring the accurate implementation of the intended user interface.
  • Gather feedback from stakeholders and team members to measure satisfaction levels.
  • Measure how well the designer incorporates feedback into design iterations.
  • Conduct design reviews to maintain high standards of design quality and usability.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions effectively.
  • Oversee the full design process, from ideation and brainstorming to final execution and delivery.
  • Conduct user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, and analyze data to inform design decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and design principles.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Experience with interactive prototypes using Figma, Invision, or similar tools.
  • Ability to create seamless experiences across various devices and screen sizes.
  • Experience in building and maintaining design systems for consistency.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to collaborate effectively with developers.
  • Strong knowledge of WCAG guidelines and inclusive design practices.
  • Ability to identify user pain points and provide intuitive design solutions.
  • Experience working closely with UX designers, developers, and product managers.
  • Ability to present and justify design decisions to stakeholders.
  • Designing with a focus on user needs, behaviours, and feedback.
  • Ensuring pixel-perfect designs with a high level of precision.
  • Staying updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.
  • 3-5 years in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing digital product design.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey design concepts and collaborate with team members.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and adapt to feedback from various stakeholders.
  • Willingness to adapt to evolving design trends and emerging technologies in the graphic design field.
  • Proven expertise in creating visually stunning designs, with a deep understanding of color theory, composition, and layout principles.
