We are seeking an experienced Meteorologist to join our team in providing accurate weather forecasts and warnings to the public and key stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing data from computer weather prediction models and meteorological observation systems to predict weather patterns and provide early warnings when necessary.
Key Skills and Qualifications- Honours degree in Physics, Mathematics, Engineering fields, Meteorology, Atmospheric Sciences, Remote Sensing, Geoscience, or related fields.
- Good command of spoken and written English and excellent communication skills.
- Good knowledge in Information Technology, with working experience in scientific programming and development of applications.
The ideal candidate will have experience in working with remote sensing data, as well as knowledge in statistical packages or machine learning/deep learning algorithms.
