Senior Pipeline Engineering Manager

Job Summary
The successful candidate will oversee the distribution pipeline infrastructure in the Sindh and Balouchistan regions, ensuring efficient and safe operation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop strategies for design, construction, and maintenance of distribution pipeline networks, aligning with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
- Supervise engineers responsible for planning, execution, and monitoring of distribution pipeline projects, providing guidance and technical expertise.
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities and local stakeholders to obtain necessary permits and approvals for distribution pipeline projects, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Oversee design and engineering of distribution pipeline systems, including route selection, pipeline sizing, material selection, and hydraulic tests, adhering to industry best practices.
- Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for distribution pipeline projects, including vendor evaluation and contract negotiation.
- Monitor project progress and performance, tracking key metrics such as project milestones, budget expenditures, and quality control measures.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and operational procedures.
- Maintain relationships with external partners and industry organizations to stay abreast of industry developments and best practices.
- Prepare reports and presentations on distribution pipeline projects, performance metrics, and strategic initiatives to support decision-making processes.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with a strong background in pipeline engineering and management.
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering or civil engineering, is required. A master's degree is an added advantage.
The candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in pipeline engineering and management, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
The candidate should be familiar with industry regulations and standards, including those related to safety, environmental protection, and quality control.
