Pharmaceutical Inventory Coordinator

Job Summary

This role as an Inventory Technician involves preparing and distributing medications, requisitioning pharmaceutical supplies, and monitoring inventory under the supervision of a Pharmacist. Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring bulk stock and issuing it according to the first-expired-first-out (FEFO) method.
• Ensuring protocols are followed for receiving and issuing goods, maintaining accurate documentation, updating systems, and providing relevant reports to management.
• Monitoring temperatures and maintaining records.
• Filling departmental requisitions accurately according to goods issue protocols.
• Verifying, packing, labeling, and delivering dispensed goods to concerned departments.
• Recording all stock, including fast-moving, slow-moving, short expiry, expired, and damaged items.
• Maintaining store records of goods received and issued.
• Assisting Pharmacist in regular stock audits.
• Coordinating with Housekeeping and Maintenance to ensure temperature, light, and cleanliness standards are met in the Warehouse.
• Performing assigned tasks by the Head of Department.
