About the Role:

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer II who will support the QA function for a squad. The ideal candidate is passionate and experienced in quality delivery, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies including Agile, Kanban, and Waterfall.

Responsibilities:

  • Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.
  • Work with the project team to provide Testing Estimates.
  • Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members.
  • Execute and evaluate manual and/or automated test cases and report test results.
  • Hold and facilitate bug triaging meetings with cross-functional team members.
  • Participate in root cause analysis meetings with cross-functional team members.
  • Ensure that validated deliverables meet requirements.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have a Computer Science degree, equivalent qualification or practical experience. Minimum 2.5 years and maximum 4 years of experience in QA is required. Testing certifications ISTQB - CTFL are also essential.

Key Skills:

  • Passionate about quality delivery and embrace a Quality testing mindset.
  • A solid understanding of QA/Testing technology including SDLC, STLC, and Defect life cycle.
  • Experience in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, and Java.
  • Ability to problem solve, multi-task effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Additional Requirements:

  • Strong practical knowledge and experience of testing methodologies: Agile, Kanban, & Waterfall.
  • Strong knowledge in development practices and processes including Unit Testing.
  • Strong practical knowledge and experience of testing techniques: integration, E2E, UAT, UI.
  • Strong practical knowledge and experience in testing methods such as Exploratory and Risk-based testing.
