Job Description:

This Trainee SQA Engineer position requires a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is eager to learn and grow with our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop strong skills in software testing, quality assurance methodologies, and collaboration.

The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate or pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related fields, with basic knowledge of SDLC and software testing principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assisting Senior Team Members: Assist in developing and executing test cases and plans under the supervision of senior team members.
  2. Participating in Testing Activities: Participate in functional, regression, and performance testing.
  3. Defect Tracking and Reporting: Learn to identify, document, and track software defects using testing management tools.
  4. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with developers and team members to ensure quality standards are met.
  5. Process Improvements: Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving testing processes.
  6. Staying Updated: Stay updated with software testing best practices and emerging technologies.
Requirements:
  • Academic Background: Recent graduate or pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related fields.
  • Technical Skills: Basic understanding of SDLC and software testing principles. Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a team and respond positively to feedback.
