Environmental Stewardship Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) professional to join our Operations team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EHS management systems and programs, with a focus on sustainability and environmental stewardship.

This role involves developing and implementing effective EHS strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• EHS Management Systems: Develop, implement, and monitor EHS management systems and programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
• Safety Leadership: Serve as a role model of safety leadership, promoting a culture of safety awareness and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
• Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with the company medical doctor to identify and address potential workplace health issues, and participate in EHS projects to integrate EHS requirements into design, construction, and commissioning of new facilities.

• Education: University degree in Engineering, with a focus on Sustainability (Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering).
• Experience: 4-5 years of experience in manufacturing environments, with a detailed understanding of legal requirements and applicable standards (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Languages: Fluent English language skills, with local language knowledge an asset.
