Software Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation

This is a remote position requiring skilled professionals to ensure the highest quality of our products. Key aspects of the role include designing, developing and maintaining automated test scripts for various applications.

  • We are looking for individuals with expertise in API testing using tools such as Postman/Newman and RestAssured.
  • Mobility is also essential, as we need developers who can create and execute automated tests for mobile applications using Appium, Detox or Espresso/XCTest.
  • The ideal candidate will also have experience with UI/UX flows, particularly Selenium WebDriver for Admin Portal.
  • BDD frameworks like Cucumber are also necessary for this role.

Responsibilities include creating automated test cases (regression, integration, performance) and maintaining bug tracking systems like JIRA or Bugzilla.

  • Collaboration with developers to reproduce and debug failures is crucial for this position.
  • We require expertise in SCA flow validation, PCI DSS and PSD2 compliance in transaction workflows, and integrating OWASP ZAP for automated security scans.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Skills Required: Test Automation, including Appium, Selenium, Cypress, Detox, Espresso, XCTest; API Testing using Postman, RestAssured, Karate; Performance Testing with JMeter, k6; CI/CD Integration using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI; Programming Languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java; Mobile Platforms including iOS (Xcode), Android (ADB); Security Tools like OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders, experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
