Job Title: Public Health Advocate and Communications Specialist

About the Role:
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of public health programs. The successful candidate will play a key lead role in designing and creating all communication, promotional, and visibility materials for the organization.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Create engaging content for various platforms, including leaflets, brochures, policy briefs, and more.
  2. Conduct thorough research on public health topics, documenting findings in reports and papers for sharing and record-keeping.
  3. Prepare project-related documents and write-ups as required by the organization.
  4. Ensure high-quality proofreading and editing of all documents, reports, and publications developed by the team.
  5. Participate in planning and developing communication strategies for the organization.
  6. Develop customized reports and analyses as needed.
  7. Represent the organization in advocacy working groups, meetings, workshops, seminars, training, and briefing sessions.
  8. Design easy-to-follow and interactive presentations showcasing organizational activities effectively.
  9. Assist in planning, implementing, coordinating, monitoring, and reporting program/project activities.
  10. Support management in operational matters.
  11. Attend regular internal and external program meetings.

Requirements:
  • Masters degree in a relevant field from a reputable university.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar capacity is preferred.
  • Exceptional writing and strong communication skills in English are essential.
  • Proficiency in computer use, especially MS Office.
  • Energetic, team-oriented, with a willingness to learn and develop professionally.
  • Strong work ethics and values.

Benefits:
This position is based in Islamabad with minimal travel (around 10%). The contract duration is 1 year, with potential for extension based on performance and funding. Remuneration will be determined based on experience and salary history. Reports To: National Coordinator.
