Job Title: Cybersecurity Professional

We are seeking an experienced IT Security Specialist to join our organization.

Candidates with a strong background in IT and information security, along with certification in IT security, will be preferred for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Network Support: Provide support for network segments, Internet, and intranet systems to ensure seamless connectivity and data transfer.
  • Security Implementation: Implement best practices for new and existing IT security solutions to protect against cyber threats and data breaches.
  • Employee Education: Conduct training sessions to educate employees about security best practices and promote a culture of cybersecurity awareness.
  • Incident Response: Develop and implement incident response plans to address security breaches and minimize their impact on the organization.
  • Policies and Compliance: Ensure that security policies are up-to-date and in compliance with industry regulations to maintain a secure environment.
  • Security Controls: Evaluate the effectiveness of existing security controls and recommend improvements to enhance the organization's security posture.
  • Documentation: Write and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and consistency.
  • Security Infrastructure: Implement and manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, internet gateways, and other security infrastructure to prevent unauthorized access and malicious activity.
  • Network Monitoring: Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
  • Solution Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend new security solutions to enhance the organization's security posture and stay ahead of emerging threats.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, management, and other stakeholders to integrate security measures into the organization's infrastructure and projects.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports for management on the status of the organization's security posture to inform decision-making and drive improvement initiatives.
  • Audit Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external auditors to address security findings and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT and information security, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field. Certification in IT security is highly desirable.
