Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced e-commerce developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing high-performance e-commerce websites on OpenCart and WooCommerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop Scalable Back-end Code: Utilize best software development practices to craft efficient back-end code.
  • Built, Maintain, and Scale E-commerce Websites: Ensure seamless execution of tasks related to website development and maintenance.
  • Contribute to Usability and Functionality: Collaborate to enhance the usability and functionality of highly customized B2C and B2B websites.
  • Develop Functionality Based on Provided Concepts: Translate business requirements into functional solutions.
  • Enhance Application Performance: Regularly update and alter features to boost application performance.
  • Stay Up-to-date with Emerging Technologies: Continuously update knowledge on emerging technologies and industry trends.
Requirements
  • At least 4 years of experience in developing e-commerce websites on OpenCart/WooCommerce platforms, theme customization, API, and international payment gateway integrations.
  • Ability to create custom OpenCart/WordPress themes and plugins from scratch.
  • Proficient in working with third-party APIs to fetch and send data between different platforms.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Skilled in prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Able to propose efficient solutions for complex problems.
  • Excellent programming skills.
  • Experience in web services, XML & JSON API structures, and integrations.
  • Possession of a professional degree or certification from a recognized institution.
Preferred Skills
  • eCommerce platforms: OpenCart, WooCommerce, Open-source & MVC.
  • WordPress: The WordPress Loop, Hooks, Actions, WordPress specific functions.
  • HTML5, CSS3, SCSS.
