Developing Corporate Governance Policies

Job Summary:

A Legal Counsel will be responsible for developing corporate governance policies and ensuring compliance across departments. This role requires a deep understanding of corporate law, intellectual property, and regulatory research.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Management: Assist in drafting and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with local and international laws.
  • Regulatory Research: Conduct thorough legal research on regulatory changes related to data privacy, intellectual property, and corporate law.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and report on compliance issues, ensuring adherence to corporate governance policies.
  • Intellectual Property Protection: Assist in protecting and enforcing the company's intellectual property rights.
  • Dispute Management: Support pre-litigation dispute management by preparing documentation and liaising with external counsel.
Requirements:
  • L.L.B. / L.L.M degree with 2+ years of transaction/corporate experience (1 year of litigation experience with a law firm is preferred).
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Track record of drafting, reviewing, and revising agreements coupled with outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Competent in legal research.
  • Ability to work flexible hours during U.S shift times.
