Empowering Scripture Accessibility through Translation

We are seeking individuals to translate an English training manual into Urdu, enabling deaf and blind individuals in Urdu speaking regions to access Scripture.

This project focuses on translating the manual with accuracy and clarity. The translated manual will be used by teachers to teach deaf and blind students.

Responsibilities:

  1. Select a suitable translation approach to ensure accuracy and clarity of the manual.
  2. Collaborate with the project team as needed.

Requirements:

  1. Fluency in both English and Urdu.
  2. Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Word and Excel.
  3. Access to a computer and internet.
  4. Commit approximately 10 to 12 hours of service per week.

This is a remote opportunity that may take a few months to complete. By participating, you can contribute to bringing the Gospel to the blind and deaf using your language skills.
