About the Role

Translation Empire is looking for an Accounting Manager who is an expert in accounts, payroll, taxation, expense/payment management, and regulations. The Accounting Manager must be able to coordinate with management for payment approvals and check preparations, and ensure compliance with all applicable organizations such as FBR and UK laws.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional who can manage our accounting operations effectively. Key responsibilities include:

  • Excellent Bookkeeping
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Preparation of UK VAT returns
  • Preparation of Annual accounts
  • Written & Spoken English Skills
  • Assisting senior and junior team members
  • Overseeing ongoing maintenance of accounts
  • Supporting management in the accurate production of budgets
  • Ensure cashflow is utilized properly and protect reserves
  • Audit financial information for inconsistencies
  • Providing tax planning strategies in accordance with existing legislation
  • Ensure the books of the company are kept updated on a routine basis
  • Draft letters, emails, and other necessary documents for correspondence
  • Delivering monthly accounting responsibilities accurately and to agreed timelines
  • Maintaining financial records using various accounting software
  • Analyzing financial data using different analysis tools and techniques
  • Preparing financial accounts preparation and preparing supporting working papers in Excel
  • Year adjustment calculations such as accruals, prepayments, depreciation, deferred or accrued income, etc.
  • Preparation of corporate and income tax computations

We value candidates with excellent analytical, communication, and computer skills. Additionally, understanding of accounting and financial processes, along with strong organizational and interpersonal skills, are crucial for this role.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Finance or Accounting (B.Com/ BSc/ M.Com /MBA/ MSc) and/or a relevant certification like ACCA, CIMA, or ATT. Experience in a UK-based firm is also highly desirable.
