Software Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our development group, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our company's web applications.

Your primary focus will be on creating seamless, high-performing, and secure applications that deliver the best user experience. You will work closely with product managers and engineers to gather and evaluate user requirements.

This role requires strong proficiency in Angular 2+, React, and JavaScript, as well as experience with at least one back-end technology such as ASP.NET, C#, Java Spring Boot, NodeJS, or Python. Expertise in API development and middleware for web applications is also essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers & engineers.
  • Communicate scenarios, end-to-end experiences, interaction models, and mock-ups with the team.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Angular 2+, React, and JavaScript.
  • Create reusable widgets and componentry for efficient development.
  • Build and maintain a scalable server-side technology stack, providing APIs for various products and integrations.
  • Develop and enhance back-end processing pipelines to ensure scalability and performance.
  • Ensure security, scalability, and elasticity to support high-traffic applications.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, peer code reviews, and participate in bug bashes.
  • Follow and enforce Agile (SCRUM) development methodologies.
Required Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in Angular 2+, React, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with at least one back-end technology such as ASP.NET, C#, Java Spring Boot, NodeJS, or Python.
  • Expertise in API development and middleware for web applications.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server, Visual Studio 2019, and SQL Server Management Studio.
  • Experience designing scalable applications with a deep understanding of security best practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile (SCRUM) development processes.
