Software Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled software engineer to join our team.

Job Description

  • Conduct research and evaluation of new technologies and features to determine their suitability for our applications.
  • Handle complex technical problems related to mobile app development.
  • Provide solutions to colleagues and contribute to the improvement of our products.
  • Perform comprehensive QA testing to ensure high-quality output.
  • Debug by identifying and fixing bugs in our codebase.
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, scalable, and reliable Java code.
  • Optimize the performance, quality, and responsiveness of our apps.
  • Maintain high standards of code quality, organization, and automation.
  • Collaborate with team members to define, design, and implement new app features.
  • Work with external data sources and APIs to enhance our services.

Requirements

  • Expertise in designing workflow and architecting mobile applications.
  • Experience in developing applications for both phones and tablets.
  • Strong knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Firebase.
  • Ability to understand existing systems through code review and analysis.
  • Capability to develop complex user interfaces and backend components.
  • Quick understanding of domain-specific artifacts and technologies.
  • Anticipate potential problems and proactively resolve them.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and ability to identify small issues.
  • Research and R&D skills for technical problems and staying up-to-date with new tools and technologies.
  • Consistently produce high-quality work and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Good understanding of UI, cross-device compatibility, and general mobile development standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles.
  • Critical thinker and team player with problem-solving skills.
