Remote WordPress & Laravel Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a WordPress and Laravel developer. This is a remote opportunity that requires a strong background in PHP, specifically with Laravel and WordPress, as well as extensive experience in front-end and back-end web development.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable web applications, integrating third-party services, and optimizing code for maximum speed and scalability. A keen understanding of version control, test cases, and web services is required, along with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop dynamic web applications using Laravel and WordPress.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient PHP code.
  • Optimize database schemas in MySQL.
  • Integrate and manage Web Services (REST APIs, SOAP).
  • Develop and manage custom WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Implement JavaScript functionalities and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
  • Manage code versions using Git and collaborate with team members on version-controlled projects.
  • Write and maintain test cases for robust software validation and quality assurance.
  • Troubleshoot and debug application issues effectively.
  • Perform code reviews and adhere to development best practices.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration with back-end logic.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Laravel: Advanced proficiency with building scalable applications.
  • WordPress: Expertise in developing custom themes, plugins, and API integrations.
  • PHP8: Strong command over PHP language features and syntax.
  • MySQL: Ability to design, optimize, and maintain complex database structures.
  • JavaScript: Good understanding of JavaScript for front-end enhancements.
  • Web Services: Experience with RESTful and SOAP API integrations.
  • Git: Proficiency in version control and collaborative development workflows.
  • Test Cases: Knowledge of automated testing and writing effective test scripts.
  • HTML/CSS: Understanding of front-end technologies to collaborate effectively.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot code.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for team collaboration.
