Podcast Engineering Opportunity

We're looking for a skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to design, develop, and optimize high-performance backend systems using Node.js and TypeScript.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications.
  • Build and optimize RESTful APIs and cloud-based solutions.
  • Ensure high-performance, low-latency applications for global users.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Implement unit, integration, and load testing for reliability.
  • Drive innovation by contributing to system architecture and design decisions.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of backend development experience.
  • Strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, Redis, and SQL databases.
  • Proven experience in building consumer-facing scalable applications.
  • Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud services (Google Cloud, DigitalOcean, AWS).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills (Bonus Points):
  • Experience with high-traffic, low-latency applications.
  • Strong DevOps and CI/CD pipeline knowledge.
  • Background in AI, Digital Signal Processing (DSP), or advanced SQL optimization.
  • Open-source contributions.
