About the Role

The Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality software products are delivered to customers. This individual collaborates closely with the software development team to design, implement, and execute test plans and automation.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to contribute to the development of innovative software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manual and Automated Testing: Hands-on experience in performance and security tools, including API testing or integration, and good understanding of API testing tools like Postman and Swagger.
  • SQA Tools Expertise: Detailed knowledge of SQA tools like JMeter, Selenium, and Cypress.
  • Agile Development Process: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process, applying principles of SDLC and methodologies like agile software and product security, scalability, and documentation practices and understands STLC.
  • Test Case Design: Design and verify test cases using functional requirements and UI specifications (non-functional requirements).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with concerned developer/Product Manager for issues of high priority/severity matters and provide improvement suggestions.
  • Bug Tracking: Actively participate in bug-tracking meetings with developers to re-create and correct defects in time.
  • Performance Testing: Test performance (Load/Stress) via Performance Testing tools and evaluate where the problem can be.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to prioritize things tactfully and coordinate with the development team.
  • Product Monitoring: Monitor product performance after implementation to prevent re-occurrence of anomalies and ensure efficiency of flow.
  • Data Analysis: Create a simulated dataset replicating real-world scenarios.
  • Business Problem Mapping: Ability to map business problems to software and data science techniques.
Requirements
  • Degree: BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related subject.
  • Experience: Preferred Experience: 4 - 6 years.
