Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to fill this key position.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, preparing financial reports, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and maintaining compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

This role requires strong analytical skills, in-depth accounting knowledge, and a proactive approach to improving processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring timely submission and transparency.

  • Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts and sub-ledgers, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.

  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and accruals, to ensure accurate financial reporting.

  • Maintain compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements, adhering to strict deadlines and high standards.

  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing historical and trend analysis, enabling data-driven decision making.

  • Coordinate with external auditors during audits and assist with audit preparation, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.

  • Develop and maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation entries, optimizing resource utilization and minimizing waste.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve financial issues and ensure data integrity, fostering a culture of transparency and trust.

  • Continuously review and improve accounting procedures and systems for efficiency and accuracy, driving process innovation and excellence.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a proven track record of success.

  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles, with expertise in Intuit Enterprise accounting software.

  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines, with a focus on quality and precision.

Preferred:
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.

  • Experience with ERP systems, with a strong understanding of system integration and customization.

  • Knowledge of US Taxation laws and regulations, with expertise in tax planning and compliance.

  • Prior experience with mid-to-large-sized corporations, with a demonstrated ability to adapt to changing environments.
