Software Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Specialist who will be responsible for creating detailed test plans and test cases, recording test progress and results. This individual will collaborate with the product management office and development team to thoroughly understand and analyze software requirements and technical architecture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop functional and non-functional test cases based on requirements while adhering to established guidelines.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with experience in Agile methodologies being an asset.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex problems to create new test cases within the QA automation framework using proper test data.
  • Maintain existing test cases and ensure all relevant guidelines are followed.
  • Execute test cases across various platforms, including web and mobile applications, identifying and reporting bugs through a bug tracking system.
  • Drive innovation and optimize overall testing processes.
  • Achieve expertise in Acceptance Testing and its application within Agile frameworks.
  • Apply Quality Engineering principles throughout the product lifecycle to identify defects and design flaws.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools and strategies by researching and analyzing new technologies.
  • Perform comprehensive testing at all levels, including System, Integration, and Component Level Regression.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience as an SQA Engineer.
  • Familiarity with database concepts, including running queries in MSSQL and MYSQL.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective interaction with project team disciplines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to comprehend QA test case automation frameworks and create new test cases using suitable test data.
  • Pronounced ability to learn and adopt new technologies, tools, methods, and processes.
  • Proficiency in evaluating test results, reporting, and metrics.
