IT Operations Specialist

This role involves managing, maintaining, and optimizing our infrastructure and related systems, with a strong focus on Azure Cloud services.

  • Implement and manage backup, disaster recovery, and failover strategies to ensure high availability and data integrity.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security using Azure Monitor and other tools.
  • Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure best practices in deployment and operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other scripting tools to improve efficiency and productivity.
  2. Provide technical assistance to users by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  3. Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding.
Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  1. Proficiency with Azure services, including Virtual Machines, Azure AD, Storage, Networking, and Security.
  2. 2–4 years of hands-on experience in system administration with a strong focus on Azure Cloud services.
  3. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or similar certifications.
  2. Experience with hybrid cloud environments and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM templates or Terraform.
