About the Role

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to prepare and file our Statutory and/or Tax Accounts for our office in Pakistan. The ideal candidate will ensure that our financial records are accurately maintained, balanced, and compliant with all relevant tax obligations.

Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare comprehensive financial statements, business plans, and budget reports that align with our organizational goals.
  2. Collaborate with internal or external auditors to identify and address any financial irregularities in a timely manner.
  3. Provide expert advice on tax planning and tax issues, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  4. Oversee and manage accounting processes and systems to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  5. Ensure adherence to UK regulations and standards.
  6. Develop and present monthly financial reports to stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  7. Conduct regular reviews of company systems to analyze risk and identify opportunities for growth.
  8. Offer strategic financial guidance to support informed decision-making.
  9. Detect and prevent potential instances of fraud through proactive monitoring and reporting.
  10. Present detailed reports and recommendations following internal audits, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  11. Coordinate the preparation of Corporation Tax computations and Company Tax Returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Professional certifications such as ACCA, CIMA, ATT, or IFA.
  • Experience working in a UK-based firm is highly desirable.
