
Sales Growth Strategist

Sales professionals play a crucial role in driving revenue growth for airlines and aviation companies. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for activating revenue and cost of sale strategies for assigned territories in line with regional manager guidelines.
Key responsibilities include being the ambassador of the airline brand externally to all trade, corporate, and government bodies in assigned territories, delivering revenue and cost of sales budgets for territories assigned, taking lead and activating proposed methods of ancillary revenue campaigns, retaining or increasing market share on revenue and cultural shift of distribution models, reducing any impact to revenue for the airline in territories.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, negotiation and decision-making skills, as well as proficiency in English (reading and writing) and Microsoft Office. Arabic language skills are an added advantage.
In this role, you will identify territory market opportunities, work with marketing to create suitable marketing plans, analyze and provide feedback on territory market situations, drive Oman Air's NDC implementation strategy across all channels, promote and initiate offers for direct sales, navigate towards direct distribution strategies, support establishing and maintaining relationships with key clients and partners, take lead in assigned territories concerning market communication to trade, initiate changes to ancillary revenue opportunities, increase additional revenue streams for the territory, and plan, organize, and coordinate sales calls to travel agents' corporate houses and government institutions.
As a mid-senior level professional, you will guide, coach, and mentor the sales team in achieving sales performance and foster growth and development. You will also handle travel agency incentive programs, monitor BSP in assigned territories, and perform other tasks assigned by management.
To excel in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree in aviation management, travel, and tourism, or a diploma in a related field, with at least 6 years of relevant work experience handling sales in the airline industry.
This is a full-time job that requires excellent understanding of sales and commercials functions in the airline industry, a seniority level of mid-senior, and employment type of full-time.
You will be working in the airlines and aviation industry, which involves negotiating and developing business partnerships, analyzing data to inform sales decisions, managing sales teams, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
