Senior Accountant Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to oversee and manage our financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

This role involves supporting the Accountant in completing basic bookkeeping, clerical, and accounting tasks, as well as preparing company budgets and financial reports.

  • Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivables (Accounts ledgers)
  • Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
  • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
  • Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
  • Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers
  • Bank reconciliation on a daily basis
  • Provide input into the department's goal-setting process
  • Assist with tax audits and tax returns
  • Plan, assign, and review staff work & report to the Manager
  • Support the month-end and Year-end close process

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as Financial Controller, Accounting principles (GAAP) and awareness of business trends. Additionally, they should be familiar with financial accounting statements, general ledger functions, and the month-end year close process.

A degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant is preferred, along with advanced MS Excel skills, including Vlookup and pivot tables, accuracy and attention to detail.
