Clinical Trial Screening Coordinator Job Description

As a key member of our clinical research team, the Clinical Trial Screening Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of clinical trials. This includes conducting initial patient screening and pre-enrollment assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and study protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Screening & Recruitment
    • Identify potential participants based on protocol-specific eligibility criteria, conducting thorough assessments through questionnaires, medical records, and interviews as necessary.
    • Maintain and manage lists and data, implementing recruitment strategies to meet targets.
  • Eligibility Assessment & Coordination
    • Review and verify medical history, diagnostic reports, and lab results to assess eligibility, coordinating required evaluations in compliance with the protocol.
    • Collaborate with clinical research associates and other site staff to assess participants against inclusion and exclusion criteria.
  • Compliance & Documentation
    • Maintain accurate records of screening activities and enrollment status, compiling reports as necessary.
    • Document patient information as needed.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize the screening process, training recruitment and other stakeholders as needed on clinical protocols.
    • Patient-facing communication includes requests for information, clarifications, confirmations, etc.
    Performance Evaluation:
    • Ability to conduct quality reviews based on KPIs set forth by management.
    • Ability to communicate efficiently and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
    Required Skills & Qualifications:
    • Foreign Medical Graduate or related medical degree.
    • Experience in clinical research, patient recruitment, or healthcare coordination.
    • Strong verbal and written professional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in various management systems, including e-source.
