Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and experience with accounts receivable and payable.

The Accounting Specialist is responsible for handling a broad spectrum of accounting duties, including general bookkeeping, managing outgoing bills and invoices, and managing incoming payments.

This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include preparing and mailing invoices to customers, posting payments to customer accounts, organizing and filing deposit receipts, reconciling cash receipts and deposits, and preparing reports on delinquent accounts and customer payment profiles.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices and account statements.
  • Prepare and issue vendor settlements.
  • Assist in the application of cash and preparation of bank deposits.
  • Match invoices and purchase orders.
  • Verify payment status with carriers.
Requirements

Associate's Degree in Accounting, Business or a related field with a minimum of 2-years of accounts receivable and accounts payable experience is required; Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

Previous experience within the transportation industry is a plus.

Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
