Cost Analysis Expert Job Role

This role is crucial for driving financial accuracy and supporting budgeting processes to optimize profitability and efficiency across the organization.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform comprehensive analysis of cost drivers, including labor, materials, and overheads, to identify trends and areas for cost reduction.
  2. Collaborate with departments to prepare budgets and forecasts, ensuring financial accuracy. Analyze budget performance, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
  3. Develop detailed cost reports, providing clear and concise financial information to inform decision-making. Identify cost-saving opportunities and offer financial recommendations to senior management.
  4. Monitor and manage inventory costs, ensuring accurate cost allocation and efficient inventory management. Utilize costing methods like standard costing and FIFO to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize holding costs.
  5. Work closely with other departments, including procurement, operations, and finance, to ensure cost-effective strategies and alignment with overall financial objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in costing analysis or financial analysis, preferably within FMCG or manufacturing.
  • Proficient knowledge of cost accounting principles and financial reporting.
