PHP CodeIgniter Developer Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled PHP developer with expertise in the CodeIgniter framework to join our development team.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in web application development using the CodeIgniter framework and PHP, along with a good understanding of front-end technologies. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs that are efficient, scalable, and user-friendly.

Main Responsibilities:API Development:
  • Design and Develop RESTful APIs: Utilize the CodeIgniter framework and PHP to design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs that meet scalability and efficiency requirements.
  • API Integration: Collaborate with front-end developers for seamless API integration and ensure data consistency and integrity.
  • Code Optimization: Identify and fix performance bottlenecks in the application, optimizing code for speed and scalability.
Database Management:
  • Database Design: Design and optimize database schemas to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • SQL Query Optimization: Write complex SQL queries to ensure optimal database performance.
  • Database Integration: Integrate databases with web applications, ensuring data consistency and integrity.
Bug Fixing and Troubleshooting:
  • Bug Identification and Resolution: Identify and resolve bugs and issues in a timely manner.
  • Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Version Control and Security:
  • Source Code Management: Utilize version control systems, such as Git, for source code management and collaboration.
  • Sensitive Data Protection: Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and prevent vulnerabilities.
  • Coding Standards: Follow coding standards and best practices to maintain high-quality code.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as a PHP developer with a strong emphasis on the CodeIgniter framework.
  • Database Systems Knowledge: Experience with database systems like MySQL, including database design and optimization.
  • RESTful API Development: Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration.
  • Version Control Systems: Strong understanding of version control systems, especially Git.
  • Software Development Lifecycle: Knowledge of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
