Job Title: AR Specialist

The role of the Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist is a vital part of our organization's financial operations. This position involves handling various tasks related to billing and payment processing.


Responsibilities:
  • Review contracts: The AR Specialist will review contractual agreements to understand the billing terms, payment schedules, and invoicing requirements.
  • Creating and sending invoices: Invoices are created and sent to clients according to the billing terms outlined in the contractual agreements.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness: The AR Specialist ensures that the invoices are accurate, timely, and comply with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Managing billing schedules: Billing schedules for contractual agreements are managed by the AR Specialist, ensuring that invoices are sent on time and that payments are received according to the payment schedules outlined in the contracts.
  • Resolving billing discrepancies: Discrepancies or disputes with customers are resolved by the AR Specialist, working with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure that payments are received on time.
  • Maintaining records: Accurate billing records for contractual agreements are maintained by the AR Specialist, including invoices, payments received, and any changes to the billing terms or schedules.
  • Financial reporting: The AR Specialist assists in financial reporting activities, including preparing reports and analyses related to contractual billing and revenue recognition.

Requirements:
  • Strong numerical skills: A strong understanding of mathematical concepts and the ability to perform calculations accurately is essential for this role.
  • Proficiency in accounting principles: Familiarity with basic accounting principles and practices is beneficial for performing tasks related to billing and payment processing.
  • Analytical skills: Analyzing complex contractual terms and conditions to ensure accurate billing is a key requirement for this position.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in using billing software and systems is important for efficiently generating invoices, tracking payments, and managing customer accounts.
